The start of the walk is located at the Moulin Bidon picnic area near the Jalle (a small stream).
To get there, take Rue Jean Jaurès to the end. There are picnic benches and a shelter for 20 people.
(S/E) Take the stone path that continues from the street, passing the small hollow where there is sometimes a trickle of water. Continue straight ahead on the sandy path.
(1) Pass through a low-lying area along the edge of the Jalle, where there is sometimes a little water in winter.
Just after the Ruisseau de Terre Rouge, turn left away from the Jalle, then keep right at the fork to go uphill and reach the white gravel path.
(2) Take the path on your right, cross the Soldat bridge and continue.
(3) Continue straight ahead on the path, passing a fenced-off area and then a forest. Keep heading east until you reach the village of Magudas, where you will come out onto Rue Jean-Henri Fabre.
(4) Turn right, then right again onto the D211, which you follow carefully until you reach the pedestrian crossing.
(5) Cross the road and take the paved road (Rue de Poupay). Go through the barrier and continue straight ahead on the straight white gravel path, heading south-west.
(6) At the junction with a barrier, turn right, then veer right at the next junction (Crabe Morte) to reach the D211.
(7) Cross carefully and continue along the tarmac road. At the next junction (elevation 38), cross and continue straight ahead along the white gravel path.
(3) Turn left and retrace your steps along the path you took at the start of the walk to return to the Moulin Bidon site (S/E).
