Start: Car park just after passing under the southbound carriageway next to the junction between Route de Condat and Boulevard Robert Maloubier. (see Useful information section to drive to the start from Limoges)

(S/E) Exit the car park via the driveway and turn right onto the D11a, towards Condat-sur-Vienne, until you reach the first footpath descending to the right. Then, turn right again to join the Vienne riverside.
(1) The path turns right to follow the riverside with the water on your left-hand side. Walk under a first road bridge, then a railway bridge, then another road bridge, and handrail the old porcelain factory to reach the old Saint-Martial bridge.
(2) Stay on the riverbank, along the Gabriel Ventejol alley, which runs alongside a small island. Take the first alley on the right, which joins a street (Rue d'Auzette).
(3) Cross it to take Rue Paul-Antoine Bonnaud (street), which runs alongside Mas Rome park in the Auzette valley on your left, then Rue Jules Sandeau, which bears right to reach Rue de Babylone. Turn left to reach Rue de Toulouse. Cross it to take a small alleyway slightly to the left.
(4) Turn right off into Impasse de Toulouse, which leads down to the park. Follow the path to Rue Commandant Félix, which you follow to the right for 10 m or so, then take the path to the left. As you enter the park, walk along the Auzette riverside without crossing it, until you reach a junction: take the right-hand path leading up to the allotments. As you go up, take the left-hand path, which continues to climb until you reach another junction. Turn left again and follow the path to the route de Feytiat (D979).
(5) Cross the road, follow it to the right and take the path on the left towards the sports fields at the foot of the college buildings. Follow the soccer pitch, cross the basketball court and pick up the path along the Auzette riverside. The path turns left and crosses the Auzette at the foot of the A20 motorway. Follow it left up to the tennis courts. Turn left to bypass the John Lennon cultural center and follow the road back down to the route to Feytiat (B979).
(6) Cross the road (use the crosswalk) to turn right into Allée Chantepie. Leave the Allée Chantepie further on to take the path on the left which descends into the park, towards the Auzette river. Follow the right bank of the Auzette. Go through the tunnel. Shortly after the tunnel, take the left-hand path over the Auzette and along its left bank. Just before leaving the park (children's playground), cross back over the Auzette and turn left onto Rue d'Auzette. Return to the Rue d'Auzette junction after the bridge.
(3) Take the first alley on the right down to the Vienne river. Turn left onto Quai d'Auzette, which follows the riverbank of the Vienne, passes under the Pont Neuf (bridge, D941) and carry on to the Saint-Étienne bridge.
(7) Cross this old bridge over the Vienne. Turn left as you leave the bridge, and immediately after fork left onto the path leading down to the riverside. Follow this path along the river South-West. After Pont Neuf, continue along the path to the left to bypass an old spinning mill.
(8) Turn right onto Rue de la Font Pinot, which leads to Rue du Pont Saint-Martial. Turn left onto Rue du Pont Saint-Martial.
(9) Before the bridge, turn right into Rue de la Filature, which continues as a path along the Vienne riverbank. Follow it under the railway bridge to the Georges Guigouin bridge (southern link). Take the 2nd staircase up the bridge structure on the downstream side. Cross the bridge over the Vienne to reach the parking lot on the right (S/E).
