Park next to the station.
(S/E) Take Rue de la Gare to No. 25, then turn right to walk between the buildings and join Route du Cap Henri de Bournazé. Turn left.
(1) Turn right onto Rue des Arbousiers. Continue to the end of the road and continue along the path opposite.
(2) Cross the D1215 and then the railway line and continue straight ahead until you reach the cycle path.
(3) Cut across the path leading to Maison de Grave, turn left and head down to the beach. Turn right and walk back up towards the headland for about 600 metres, then leave the beach by turning right to join the fitness trail.
(4) Turn left onto the fitness trail and continue straight ahead to reach the Saint-Nicolas lighthouse.
(5) Take the path towards the point. This path winds around a series of left and right turns before moving away from the beach and reaching a car park and picnic area.
(6) Join the cycle path and continue to the left. In the bend, turn sharply left to reach the semaphore.
(7) Continue to Pointe de Grave and its lighthouse.
(8) Turn back and head towards the port, avoiding the D1215 by turning right. Pass in front of the museum, turn left to return to the D1215 and follow it to the right for about 200 metres.
(9) Turn left onto Allée Louis de Foix along the harbour, then onto Quai de Cordouan. Then turn left to go to the Port Médoc slipway.
(10) Follow the path up to Allée de Declide and continue a few dozen metres to the left.
(11) Turn left again onto Boulevard des Sternes, then right in front of the harbour master's office to follow Promenade de la Pointe Médoc.
(12) Walk along the harbour to Faille Marais.
(13) Walk along the beach, past the water sports centre, then turn right. Cross the road and take Allée des Baïnes opposite, until you reach the small bridge before the fire station.
(14) Turn left into the old oyster port, then return to Cours de la République. Cross it and take Route de l'Ancien Hôtel de Ville opposite, then Rue Aristide Briand as it continues. At the end, turn right onto Boulevard Lahens, then turn left and walk alongside the town hall.
(15) Turn left again onto Rue Rochambeau and, at the end of the street, turn right onto Rue de la Gare to return to the starting point (S/E).
