Park in the square in front of the town hall, opposite the church, on Rue des Roches.
(S/E) Head towards the church and turn right onto Rue des Roches. Then turn left onto Rue de la Cure, towards Mazenay. Continue along Allée du Château, pass the château and arrive at a junction.
(1) Cross the road towards L’Étang. Leave the tarmac at the hamlet and continue along the path that passes under two high-voltage power lines.
(2) A few dozen metres after the second one, turn left onto a path through the woods and follow it until you come out onto a road.
(3) Cross carefully and take the path opposite, still through the woods. You will reach another road.
(4) Follow it up to the right for about a hundred metres, then take the path on the left which quickly leads to the Croix de la Maladière beneath the high-voltage power line.
(5) Turn left onto the Chemin des Romains andcontinue straight on, slightly downhill for about 2.5 km, until you reach a crossroads.Note the cross on the right and the wayside shrine opposite on the left.
(6) Cross the road towards the wayside shrine. Walk for about 100 metres, then turnleft onto a grassy path opposite the yellow signpost. Walk for 300 metres and take a small path on the left between the hedges which descends, with a series of switchbacks, for about 1.2 km and leads onto a road (Rue du Pont) a few metres from a crossroads.
(7) Turn right and continue along Rue des Roches to return to the starting car park (S/E).
