Parking is available at a stone bridge on the road to the hamlet of La Creuse (D143).
(S/E) Continue eastwards along the small road leading from the castle and, after passing the hamlet of La Creuse, you will reach a four-way crossroads.
(1) Take the path on the right opposite the stone cross and cross the Vielle. Follow this path, which heads east, and keep left at the fork. After 500 m along the edge of the forest, take a sunken path on the left until you cross the Vielle again and reach the D143 (note that this bridge is precarious: caution is advised).
Turn right onto the D143 for about 300 m and turn left at "La Bonne Vie".
(2) Turn right just before the campsite entrance and keep right at the fork after 100 metres. Stay on this path, which runs more or less alongside the Ruisseau du Bouhy, and you will reach another fork after a kilometre or so. Turn right and cross the Petite Vielle on a bridge (this one is solid!).
(3) Turn left after the bridge and you will soon reach a stone barn. Go through a removable barrier to the left of the building and go up to the right to quickly find the path upstream from the barn. (Note that the path that continues in front of the barn is no longer usable, requiring this small detour).
Follow the path to the left towards the north and continue straight on to Saint-Maurice Church.
(4) Follow the road to the left and after 300 metres, turn right at the fork just after a hairpin bend.
Take the first street on the right and immediately take the path on the left at the fork. Continue uphill and, after a first 90° left turn followed by a second right turn, join Chemin des Romains at a wrought iron cross.
(5) Turn right and stay on Chemin des Romains for about 500 metres before turning left onto a path that heads south-west and joins the Dracy road just after a right-hand bend.
(6) Turn left at an acute angle and go down the road for about 600 metres. Turn left onto a path between two hedges directly opposite the street leading to Les Gobillots. Continue straight ahead to quickly reach a five-way crossroads at the end of Impasse des Violettes.
(7) Turn right at the stop sign and follow the road for just 100 metres before taking a small grassy path on the left between two properties. Follow this path, which will quickly turn right. Cross the Vielle and reach Chemin des Bas Meleaux.
(8) Follow this path to the left and walk along the Vielle for about 1 km until you reach the stone bridge at the start (S/E).
