Depart from the car park below the town hall.
(S/E) When you leave the car park, turn left. Cross the street and take the road that goes up to your left. Walk along the cemetery and continue straight ahead. At the three-way junction, turn right.
(1) At the hairpin bend to the right, leave the road and take the small grassy path on the left that passes between two houses. Go downhill and cross the stream, then go back uphill to a small road. Follow this road to the left for about a hundred metres.
(2) At the crossroads, continue straight ahead. At the fork in France, continue to the right.
(3) At the Saint-Marty crossroads, keep left and continue straight ahead on the road, ignoring the paths on the right or left.
(4) At Fonfrège, continue along a path and keep going uphill. After a hairpin bend to the right, ignore a turn-off on the right and continue to a road. Follow the road to the right and, at the fork immediately ahead, turn right.
(5) Before a left-hand bend, leave the road and take the dirt track on the right overlooking the valley. Continue along the ridge for 1.3 km, heading south-east (beautiful views).
(6) When you reach an electricity pylon, descend to the right to rejoin the road. Follow the road to the right and turn left with it.
(7) Before a right turn, leave the road and take the dirt track on the left. Go downhill, cross the stream and go back uphill. At the junction with a road, turn right towards the castle.
(8) At the crossroads, after the village sign, take the dirt track on the right and pass below the castle. Back on the road, turn right to quickly reach the crossroads of the circular route.
(1) Follow the outward route in reverse to the town hall (S/E).
