Departure from Boutigny station (RER line D). For motorists, the station has a large free car park.
(S/E) From Boutigny station, head towards Rue de Lans in the direction of the post office and follow Rue des Cordeliers to the left towards the church (red and white markings). At the crossroads after the church, turn left and cross the level crossing carefully via Rue du Château de Bélesbat.
(1) After crossing the tracks, turn right onto the first tarmac road, Chemin du Marais (blue markings). Follow this road, which runs alongside the RER D line (on the right) and gardens and meadows on the left. Pass under a bridge beneath the railway line and walk alongside the watercress beds on your left before approaching the curve of the RER line to a place called Pasloup.
(2) At the crossroads, turn right, cross the level crossing and follow Rue de l'Abreuvoir to Grande Rue D105. Turn left and follow the road to Jouy.
(3) Then turn left onto Impasse du Préau in Jouy and walk along the Essonne towards the Marais de Pasloup.
(4) Leave the river and head north-west to a small tarmac road (Rue des Rochettes). Follow this road to the left and make a wide turn to the right. At the entrance to Cléry, ignore a road on the right and continue straight on towards La Mothe, passing a lodge on the left.
(5) At the crossroads at the exit of La Mothe, turn left.
(6) Cross the Essonne river and, at the fork that follows, turn left towards D'Huisson. Cross a hamlet, ignoring the road that branches off to the right towards the D449. Ignore another road on the right, then another on the left. At the three-way junction (crossroads), turn left towards the D449.
(7) Cross the road and follow Rue de Nangeville south. Cross a small road and continue straight ahead on a path that enters the Bois de Misery. Climb a hill.
(8) At the crossroads at the top of the hill, follow theGR®1(red and white markings) to the left, towards the Misery valley.
(9) At a fork in the road on a downhill stretch, turn right, still following the GR®. Go through a forest gate and past the cemetery. At the T-junction, turn left onto Chemin de Bouville.
(10) At the next junction, turn right onto the D449, then left onto Rue du Sourdet. This road soon turns right. At the next junction, turn left onto Route de la Ruchère. Follow this road to a roundabout opposite Château de Bélesbat.
(11) Turn left onto Route du Château de Bélesbat.
(1) Cross the level crossing and turn right onto Rue des Cordeliers. Then continue to Boutigny station (S/E).
