Park in the car park on Rue de l’Égalité, opposite the school.
(S/E) With your back to Rue de l’Égalité, head to the far end of the car park and follow the path which leads onto Route d’Étampes. Follow it to the left, cross a fork in the road and continue until you reach the ‘end of built-up area’ sign.
(1) Take the path on the right which turns at a right angle and heads north. Continue to Rue des Rochettes.
(2) Follow it, crossing Route de Boissy. Then continue along Chemin de Farcheville towards the industrial estate.
(3) At the building supplies shop, turn left onto a path that immediately turns right. Ignore two paths coming from the left and, at a fork, turn left.
(4) At the next junction, turn right onto the PR® marked in yellow. Turn left. You will come out onto Chemin des Amoureux; follow it to the left and join Chemin de Farcheville. First turn right then left to take Rue aux Moines (yellow markings).
(5) At the T-junction, turn left into Rue de Longueville. At No. 12 on the street, turn right into Rue Saint-Pierre (narrow alley). At the T-junction, turn left; at the blue gate, turn right and follow the Chemin de la Fontaine Saint-Pierre, which leads to the bridge over the Ru.
(6) Cross it and take the path to the left. 50 m further on, take the path to the right, cross the Ruisseau d’Huison then turn left onto the Chemin de la Pente de Bray, which leads to Rue de Tanqueux; turn right onto it. Walk alongside the wall of Prêles Castle before reaching the D145.
(7) Cross it carefully, then follow the track to the left towards La Ferté-Alais. At the junction, cross the D449, taking care, and turn onto Allée Jean Moulin towards the Albert Camus secondary school.
(8) Cross the Essonne and continue along this pedestrian path to Boulevard de Prêles, turn left then immediately right into Rue Maxime Lisbonne,
(9) Turn left onto Rue Saint-Firmin and, after 50 metres, a passageway on the right leads onto Rue Prosper Galène, which you should follow to the right. Immediately after the railway bridge, you will reach Route de Guigneville.
(10) Turn left until you reach the traffic lights.
(11) Head up to the right and follow the GR®11. At the cemetery car park, turn left and stay on the PR® towards the Stade du Tertre, which you follow until you reach Chemin de la Sablière, then Allée Pierre Dague and Rue Adrienne Bolland.
(12) Leave this street and take a path running alongside the D83 to the entrance of the educational farm.
(13) Cross the Route de Melun carefullyand continue along the grass verge until you reach a concrete fence. Take the path on the right just before this and enter the Manoirs housing estate. Head south through the streets, passageways and stairways (Rues du Bas Cot, Villa du Tonneau, des Vieilles Vignes, Villa du Pressoir) until you reach Rue Georges Brassens.
(14) Follow it to the right, continuing along Rue des Pierres Rangées and past a bus shelter.
(15) Shortly afterwards, turn left onto a path through the fields heading south. This is a PR® path which joins Rue du Four à Chaux; follow it to the left, then leave it at a cross, heading right. Cross the woods and climb up to the exit.
(16) Leave the PR® by taking a sharp right-hand bend, heading west. This path, initially a dirt track, becomes tarmac as you reach the Guigneville cemetery, running alongside underground cisterns.
(17) Cross the D105 with care and continue in the same direction towards Rue de la Mothe, crossing the railway line, Rue de Clercy and the River Essonne. On leaving the woods, stay on Rue de la Mothe, which turns left, towards the south. Pass Rue des Marigouts on your right, then Rue de l’Église.
(18) Walk past the church, then at the two successive forks, keep right to cross Route de Malesherbes with care and join Rue de l’Égalité to reach the car park opposite the school (S/E).
