Park at the side of the D117, on the slope next to the cross, without obstructing access to the vineyards.
(S/E) Take the path opposite, heading south, then once you reach the village, walk a few metres further and take the first road going uphill to the left.
(1) Take the uphill street towards the church and turn left at the end to rejoin the road, then follow it to the right.
(2) Turn left and walk past the church, then continue along the path on the right-hand side of a house with burgundy-red shutters and head uphill until you reach rows of vines.
(3) Head uphill towards the forest and walk along the left-hand edge of the woodland.
(4) At the junction, carry straight on, climbing through the woods to the ridge.
(5) At the multi-way junction, take the path on the left and continue straight on for a good while until you reach another junction.
(6) Here, you have two options:
- shorten your walk by turning left to reach Toury more quickly.
- carry on straight ahead until you reach the final junction in the woodland section (following the route description).
(7) Head down the path on the left towards “Bray” until you reach the house on your right.
Make a circular route by taking the road on the right to the village of Bray, which you’ll recognise by its little church.
(8) Look out for a short cut of a few metres that cuts across to the left and leads down just before a long house.
(9) Take the first road on the left and carry on, following the vineyards, until you reach a junction marked by a cross.
(10) Carry on straight ahead and you’ll reach the hamlet of Toury.
(11) Head down to the left, walk past the wash house on your left and continue along the road to the right, with vineyards on your right again. Carry on straight ahead until you reach a block of houses, where there is a path on the left running alongside it.
(12) Take the path on the left back to the starting point (S/E).
