(S/E) Take the red and yellow markedGR® de Pays trail, which climbs north-eastwards.
A few hundred metres further up, pass by the Oratory of Saint-Gens. Continue along a pleasant path lined with dry stone walls characteristic of the Monts de Vaucluse, avoiding an estate by taking a slight detour.
(1) Continue along the red and yellow marked trail through pretty oak and pine undergrowth. Keep going straight ahead, following the markings, to reach the Piste du Grand Pyumians.
(2) Cross this track and continue straight ahead. After passing a cistern on your left, turn right onto a narrower path and reach the Bourguigne signpost: beautiful views of Ventoux in places.
(3) Continue on theGR® de Pays, which crosses another track, the Trois Luisants. Pass the Rocher des Trois Luisants and continue for 400 m to reach the highest point of the hike (Borne 661 m).
From there, turn right to begin the descent towards the lookout post via theGR® (red and white markings) on a wide track.
(5) Leave the track at the bend, pass under the lookout post and descend via a very pretty path offering beautiful views of the plain. At the large cairn at the bottom of the scree, turn right and continue to the Mourre Pelé intersection.
(6) Turn right onto the path towards Saumane Marculy, which after about 100 metres reaches a track that you follow to the left for 100 metres, then turn right onto a barely marked path that descends steeply (blue trail). Join a track that descends towards La Tapy and follow it to the left. This track becomes a small road lined with pretty houses in a haven of peace and tranquillity. Walk for about 2 km.
(7) Turn right to join a pretty path marked with red and yellow signs (GRP®) which climbs slightly. At the crossroads, follow the road to the right and the signs to reach the car park at (S/E).
