Park in the church square or in one of the small neighbouring streets.
The walk starts at the church square in Montchauvet.
(S/E) With your back to the war memorial and the church, take the street opposite, which passes in front of an inn and leads to the town hall. Do not take Rue aux Prêtres on the left.
Turn right onto Rue de la Mairie, then left onto Rue du Massacre. Turn right onto a small path to reach Rue de Dreux. Turn left, ignore Rue des Vignes immediately and continue to the next crossroads.
(1) Turn right (yellow and redGRP® markings). Continue along Rue de Dreux, then along the path that extends it for about 2 km. Ignore the paths branching off to the sides and keep heading south-west.
(2) Leave theGR® de Pays (yellow and red markings), which turns left, and continue straight ahead. Ignore a turn-off on the right and then one on the left (not visible on the map).
(3) At a fork, turn left. Ignore the side paths and continue until you reach a street.
(4) Continue straight ahead on Rue du Point du Jour until you reach a roundabout.

Cross the roundabout and take Rue de la Bastanière, then Rue de la Vaucouleurs on the right until you reach the church on your right.
(6) Stop behind the church in Boissets to discover the source of the Vaucouleurs. Take Rue de la Vaucouleurs on the right towards the cemetery.
(7) Before reaching the cemetery, take a path on the right and continue to the D115. Cross it carefully and ignore a turn-off on the right.
(8) At a crossroads, turn left towards a farm, then turn right.
(9) Turn left at Mare Robert. In Saint-Laurent, at a T-junction, turn right into a cul-de-sac. Continue along the road that extends from it. Ignore a turn-off on the left.
(10) At a T-junction, turn left. Ignore the turnings on either side to reach a road.
(11) Take the road on the right for about 200 metres.
(12) Take the first path on the right, which will turn left at a right angle a little further on. Cross a perpendicular path and continue on this path until you reach the entrance to Montchauvet.
(13) Turn right onto Rue de la Porte de Bretagne. Pass under the Porte de Bretagne and continue to the church square (S/E).
