Circular route starting from Ludon-Médoc

(S/E) The starting point is opposite Château de la Lagune. Go down the path and then Rue de la Fouineyre to Canteloup, follow Avenue de Canteloup which runs alongside Moulin de Poulet until you see Château d'Agassac, located in La Taste.

(1) From Château d'Agassac, go up Avenue du Onze Novembre to Rue de la Loubeyre.

(2) Turn left onto this street and join Avenue de l'Europe, then turn left.

(3) Take Chemin des Vignes, follow the railway line, cross the level crossing and continue to Gasteau.

(4) Take the path on the left, then on the right, return to the street and cross the D2 roundabout.

(5) Continue straight ahead, at Fellonneau take the alleyway, cross the D211 with caution and arrive at the Étang de Guittot.

(6) Turn left, follow the path between the two ponds and, at the next pond, turn right. Continue, cross a road and arrive at a fork.

(7) Turn left and arrive at a pond.

(8) Follow the path, go around the Étangs de Cordet ponds on your left and come out onto the Route du Guiton.

(9) Take it on the left, cross the Ruisseau de l'Esclaude and take the lane opposite, then another one that branches off to the left to Fronton.

(10) Turn left, then right opposite Château Paloumey, and further on to the left to reach the D211. Turn left to reach the castle's natural site.

(11) Turn right, leaving the pond on your left, then the equestrian centre on your right, and continue to the D2.

(12) Cross it carefully, turn right parallel to the departmental road, then go around Château de la Lagune on the left and arrive at Rue du Moulin à Vent.

(13) Turn left to continue around the château grounds and rejoin Avenue de l'Europe. Turn left and, facing Château de la Lagune, turn left towards the car park (S/E).

(8) and (9) enjoy the Etang de Cordet, beloved by anglers and walkers alike. There are benches where you can sit and have a picnic.
