Don't forget to visit the thousand-year-old oak, which is truly majestic.
(2) On leaving the village, turn left onto a tourist trail towards "Covachos de Barfaluy" and follow it to a junction with a track.
(3) Continue straight ahead on the Barafluy path until you reach a Y junction.
(4) Fork right uphill to the South and follow the path to the caves, reached by steep metal ladders.
(5) After admiring the genius of prehistoric man, follow the same path down to the fork.
(4) Turn right on the other branch of the Y and follow the bed of the Barranco Basender for 200 m, then fork left uphill. The path climbs the cliff and then descends to the edge of the Rio Vero.
(6) Turn right onto the path that descends into the Rio Vero riverbed.
Going up along the bank, you can see the Ermita de San Martín de Lecina on the other side.
