Start from the Augraben fishing pond next to the hydroelectric power station, Rue Stoskopf, in Eschau.
(S/E) At the pond, continue straight ahead on the Sentier des Pêcheurs for about 200 m (blue diamond markings; do not follow the yellow ring markings on the right).
(1) Enter the forest (the path follows the nature trail marked by two yellow dots). After leaving the woods, you will come to a bridge.
(2) Cross the bridge and turn right, still following the blue diamond (second path on the right).
(3) After about 500 m, leave the educational trail and follow the blue diamond to the left.
(4) Continue along the blue diamond.
(5) Leave the trail that runs alongside the Petite Ill until you reach Les Sept Sources.
Then turn left, still following the blue diamond, until you reach the junction with the fork (elevation 146).
(6) Continue left for 200 metres until you reach a fork.
(7) Leave the Blue Diamond on the right (unmarked path) and head into the forest, following the Petite Ill. You will reach two footbridges about 300 m apart, spanning two branches of the Petite Ill.
(8) Do not take the first footbridge, but continue to the right along the branch of the river. This will take you back to the Seven Springs.
(5) Continue opposite in the opposite direction to the outward journey until you reach the fork you passed on the way out.
(4) Leave the Losange Bleu and take the educational trail to another fork in the path that you also passed on the way there. (two yellow dots).
(3) First, retrace your steps in the opposite direction to the outward journey.
(2) Turn left immediately after the bridge (elevation 147) and follow a branch of the Ill river.
(1) Take the same route back as on the way there and return to the (S/E).
