Car park of the Abbey Church of Saint-Trophime in the centre of Eschau.
Yellow ring markings
(S/E) Opposite the porch of Saint-Trophime Abbey, turn left, heading north, onto Rue de la1ère Division Blindée.
After 100 metres, turn left onto Rue du Couvent, then left onto Rue des Prés. At the end of this street, follow a small stream to the farm track.
At the farm track, turn left to join the road (Rue du Général de Gaulle) at the entrance to Ohnheim.
Turn right, heading east, and cross the bridge.
(1) After the bridge, go down to the left, immediately pass under the bridge and follow the Ill (northbound) for 150 metres.
Turn left onto Impasse de l'Ill, and at the first crossroads, turn right onto Rue de l'Eschenwoerth.
Follow the Ill northwards to elevation 143, then follow the Andlau towards the Saint-Ulrich Chapel (southwards).
(2) After the chapel, turn right onto Rue de la Chapelle. Go to the end of this street and cross Rue des Platanes.
Enter a field and cross it to reach the Andlau. Continue left along the river to Rue du Château and finally Rue du Général de Gaulle.
Turn right, heading west, and cross the bridge over the Andlau.
(3) A few metres after the bridge, take a small path on the left, heading south-west, which runs along the other bank of the Andlau. Follow this path for 300 metres.
(4) At the first houses in Fegersheim, turn left onto Rue du Moulin.
At the end of the street, turn right and follow the cycle path (southbound) to the footbridge over the Scheer.
(5) After the footbridge, turn immediately left, heading east, and follow the path along the Scheer.
Turn right after the playground, continue straight ahead (south-east) and enter the grove.
In the copse, take the first track on the left, heading east, until you reach the next intersection.
(6) Turn right towards the Bruchmatt pond, follow it and then turn left in front of the pumping station and join the Petite Île footbridge.
No markings
(7) To stay on the small fishermen's route, do not take the footbridge but continue along the path along Petite Île (downstream) to the Ohnheim bridge.

(1) Cross the bridge heading east and return to the starting point via the farm track, Rue des Prés, Rue du Couvent and Rue de la1ère Division Blindée, but in the opposite direction. You will arrive at the car park of Saint-Trophime Abbey (S/E).
