Description of the walk

Start from the École des Heures Saines in Stave.

(S/E) Set off along Rue de Stavesoul (GR®129), which starts to the right of the school entrance. Walk for about 2.5 km until you reach the edge of a wood. Join a road and continue left until the next fork.

(1) Turn left towards Biesmerée. Follow the quiet country lane downhill, skirting a wood on your left, and continue to the next crossroads by a copse.

(2) Turn left towards Moulin de Vaux. Pass the market garden ‘L’orti-culture’ and continue to the right at the next junction. Walk past a farm on your right and reach the junction at the edge of Biesmerée.

(3) Turn left to head up Route de Stave. Take care, as this road is busier. Pass the cemetery and enter Stave.
