Follow the paved road markedGR®, which continues on a dirt road towards the Auberge des Seguins; park in the last car park before the Auberge des Seguins(signposted) and continue on foot to the car park in front of the Auberge des Seguins property.
(S/E) Continue along the road for 200 m, still markedGR®911, before taking a path that branches off to the left and then turns left again at the first fork. You are now at the junction ofthe GR®911andGR®9. You will soon come to a small bridge over the Aiguebrun, a charming little river.
(1) Do not cross the bridge but descend towards the river, keeping to the left bank (i.e. on your right) and follow the small path that runs alongside it for 1.5 km. The path, which has become a mule track, then leaves the river and climbs gradually to reach Sivergues. Take the time to visit this beautiful village.
(2) Follow the paved road (very little traffic) towards the south-east (on your right as you enter the village). The road makes a wide loop to the right while climbing slightly and ends at a junction with a dirt track that branches off to the left.
(3) Turn right onto the path heading west to reach a three-way junction. Take the path on the right which descends slightly and, after a wide left-hand bend, leads to the Chantebelle farm. Head towards the farm buildings to reach a small path which descends to the right with a sign for "Auberge des Seguins".
(4) Follow this path down into the valley, heading west and then south before reaching a junction with theGR®9.
(5) Leave the path on your left and follow the road straight ahead downhill, then take theGR®9on the right. Continue along the road to reach the car park in front of the Auberge des Seguins and then the starting point (S/E).
