Head to the car park at the south-eastern tip of the lake. The lake was created during the First World War to supply American soldiers with drinking water.
(S/E) Head north and make your way to the lakeside.
(1) Follow the path along the bank for about 500m, without leaving it, until you reach the next car park.
(2) Do not head towards the road on the right, but follow the path straight ahead. Walk along the left-hand side of the Route du Bois Joalland. Continue along the path past the playground.
(3) At the beach-like area, continue along the path straight ahead and walk alongside the lake to rejoin the road. Turn left onto Allée Jean Beauvilain and, further on, ignore a turn-off to the right.
(4) Walk past the canoe sheds and turn left, as indicated by the arrow, to go round the roadworks. Follow the path along the lake to reach the car park opposite (S/E).
