In Sainte-Marguerite, park in the Jaunais car park, accessible via the Route de l'Océan, D292, near Camp de la Torpille (a group of bunkers and military grounds).
Red and whiteGR®®34markings
(S/E) Return to the D292 and cross it to find the coastal path along the edge of Jaunais Beach.
(1) Follow it to the left. At a small beach, climb the stairs and then take a footbridge to reach the Pointe de Chémoulin semaphore site, guardian of the estuary. Continue down a staircase and go to Petite Vallée Beach. (It is possible to continue further, but theGR®® then takes a long stretch along the road.)
(2) Retrace your steps to Jaunais Beach.
(1) Continue straight ahead on the coastal path. Further on, the path veers away from the coast for about a hundred metres, then rejoins Sainte-Marguerite Beach.
(3) Continue along the beach.
(4) At the end, at a large concrete block, go up to the right to follow the coastal path on the left. Pass the beautiful orientation table at Pointe de Congrigoux, continue and reach a more urban area.
(5) The path passes between the houses and a protected dune cordon that runs along Bonne Source Beach, then joins a boardwalk.
(6) Continue along this walkway to Pointe du Bé (Pointe du Bec on the IGN map).
(7) Return via the same route you took to get there, to the Jaunais car park (S/E).
