Park in the car park along the D7 to the south-west of Sainte-Foy.
Please note that this route partly follows the Pic Vert route
(S/E) Head south to climb up the Combe à la Mairie. You’ll reach the junction with a wide white track.
(1) Turn left at almost a 180° angle to quickly reach the Étaules wash house. Continue north-east through the forest to find an X-shaped junction of several paths.
(2) Turn right, again almost 180°, and head south, ignoring the paths to the right and left, to reach, at the edge of the woods, Roy Jeannot’s Forest House.
(3) Follow the wide white track to the road, take the road to the edge of the forest and the junction with theGR®7.
(4) Turn left onto the path at the edge of the woods, enter the woods and reach the junction with the blue-marked path.
(5) Turn left onto this path and you will very quickly reach the cliff edge.
(6) Take care here if it is raining.
Continue along the Blue trail, making a round trip to the Tire-Barbe viewpoint (Blue signposting). Walk along and round the cliff to rejoin a trail running perpendicular to it.
(7) Ignore it on the left, continue along the cliff edge, and reach the place known as Côte à la Ratte.
(8) Take the descent to reach the car park via the White Trail. Avoid the logging track, as it is a steep descent. You can take a path on the left to reach the D7 car park (S/E).
