Park in the large car park on Grande Rue (D191), near the château.
(S/E) Head towards the château.
(1) Turn right onto Rue du Moulin. Pass between the château's water feature and a pond.
(2) At the intersection, turn left onto Rue du Vieil Étang and then left onto Chemin Foulain. Pass the Ruisseau des Brûlins stream and you will come to a T-junction with two beautiful oak trees.
(3) Turn right onto Chemin de la Basse Boissière. Pass the equestrian centre on your left and take Chemin du Vieil Étang on the right.
(4) Just after passing the stream, take the path on your left that runs alongside the stream and enters the forest. Pass a few fallen trees (situation in spring 2024) and continue to a crossroads.
(5) Turn left towards Étang des Maurus, passing to the left of it. At the top of the hill, take the small path on the left, arrive on the flat and turn slightly left onto Route Montavale.
(6) At the crossroads, turn left onto Route Tourette, which can be muddy in wet weather. Continue to Carrefour de Bazoches.
(7) Opposite, take Route de Vilpert at Bois de Mareil, diagonally to the right. At the crossroads, turn left onto Chemin de Saint-Léger à la Millière.
(8) Continue straight ahead to cross the pretty hamlet of La Millière. Then take the first street on the right, Rue de la Millière, and rejoin the D191 (Grande Rue). Turn left to follow the departmental road, passing in front of the castle.
(1) Continue straight ahead and return to the car park (S/E).
