Between Arbonne and Arcangues

Parking is available in the designated spaces on Route du Bourg, near the private school in Arbonne.

(S/E) Pass in front of the school and turn right, opposite the school, onto Chemin de Mununienea. Follow this path and continue downhill to the T-junction with Chemin de Plazako Borda

(1) Turn right onto this paved road and continue along the dirt track to reach the forest track.

(2) Continue left until you exit the woods.

(3) Turn right onto the path that runs alongside the greenhouses and enter the woods again on the left.

(4) Turn left at the intersection: sign for the Yellow Oihana trail). Continue along a narrower path until you reach a small wooden bridge.

(5) Head left to cross it. Join a paved road that runs alongside a restaurant further on and continue to the stop sign.

(6) Turn left onto Chemin du Bosquet, keep right at the three-way junction and continue to the next intersection.

(7) Turn right onto Chemin de Castagnet and stay on this quiet road, ignoring the turnings on either side. You will reach the Arcangues golf course.

(8) Turn right, staying on Chemin de Castagnet, and continue until you reach the stop sign marking the intersection with Chemin du Bosquet.

(9) Turn left and start a short climb that runs alongside the golf course. Continue until you reach the nursing home.

(10) Turn right and continue on the right at the second intersection onto Chemin Jaureguiborda. Cross the golf course residences and continue to the last houses.

(11) Follow the forest track opposite to rejoin the outward route.

Take the path on the left and follow the outward route in reverse to return to the car park (S/E).

Accessible circuit, alternating between dirt tracks and quiet paved roads.
