The starting point is the slate quarry car park, which is located after the entrance to the quarry. It can be accessed via a stony path on the left.
(S/E) Walk back down to the road and turn left.
(1) Take the hairpin bend on the road that descends to the right. Continue along the road that turns to the left.
(2) Before the next bend, take the path on the left into the woods. Continue along it until you reach the stream, which you should cross. Continue along the path that climbs up to the road.
(3) Turn left onto the road and continue to the bridge.
(4) Turn onto the path that climbs up before the bridge on the right. Follow the road for 50 metres, then take the path on the left that climbs up. Follow it for about 300 metres.
When you reach the house, take the path on the left (electricity pylons). You will come to a Y-shaped crossroads.
(5) Take the path slightly to the left that leads to Laubeyrie.
At the entrance to the hamlet, continue along the tarmac road on the right. Admire the carved door, cross the hamlet and then take the path opposite. Descend to the D25 road, which you must cross to continue along the path that descends. You will reach a hairpin bend.
(6) Turn left, ignoring the yellow markings (crosses). Follow two hairpin bends and continue uphill. Arrive at the entrance to Travassac and walk alongside the houses
(7) Take the road on the right (Rue des Écoles), cross it and turn left. Continue along the alley between the houses.
The alleyway, Rue Basse on the map, joins a street that passes near Les Pans de Travassac. Turn left to return to the car park (S/E).
