Around Reumont

Park in the car park at Reumont Town Hall.

(S/E) In the Rue du Temple car park, turn left. At the junction with Chaussée Brunehaut, turn left, then right onto Rue de l’Église until you reach the three-way junction at the chapel.

(1) Turn left onto the D98B. At the intersection with Chaussée Brunehaut, turn right and cross the road.

(2) At the intersection with Premy just before the farm, take the left-hand path. At the intersection of the paths (elevation 146), turn right.

(3) At the cemetery, turn right, then before the Honnechy calvary, turn right onto Chemin des Charbonniers.

(4) At the intersection with Ruelle de Guise, turn right. After the farm, turn right into the small road to rejoin Chaussée Brunehaut.

(5) Turn left. At the crossroads with Rue d'en Bas, turn left. At the bend in Honnechy, turn right.

(6) When you reach Rue de l'Eglise, turn left, ignoring the streets on the right and left. At the end of the street, take the pedestrian path on your left.

(7) Turn right onto Rue d'Honnechy, ignoring the alley on your right. At the crossroads, turn right onto Rue du Cheminet.

(8) Turn left onto Ruelle Bodin, then right and left again. At the intersection with Rue de l'Église, turn right. Ignore the^first alley on the right, take the next one between houses 17 and 19, and ignore the alley on the left.

(9) Turn left onto Rue de la Gare, ignore the street on the left. At the three-way junction with Rue du Calvaire, turn right. Ignore the street on the left. At the Honnechy crossroads, continue straight ahead along the route you have already taken.

(3) At the cemetery, ignore the path on the left and continue straight ahead.

(10) Take Route de Bohéries on the left. At the Bohéries farm crossroads, turn right and ignore the road on the left.

(11) Before Pont à Capelle, do not cross the D21 and turn left onto Chemin des Essarts. At the next intersection, turn left.

(12) Turn left onto Sentier de Reumont. Ignore the paths on the right and left, then continue along Rue Grand Mère.

(13) Turn right onto Rue de Bohéries, then right onto Rue du Temple and you will arrive at the town hall car park (S/E).

The route is easy but not signposted. The terrain is earth, stones and tarmac. Wear suitable footwear.
