Park on Place des Tilleuls, near the war memorial.
(S/E) Turn left and go down Petite Rue, cross Route de la Borne and follow Route de Sancerre opposite.
(1) Turn left onto Chemin du Grouillat. After about 200 metres, continue straight ahead along the path (part ofthe GR®31). This is a 1.3 km climb with an average gradient of 4% (with some sections over 10%).
(2) Turn right and continue straight ahead at the intersection with the path leading to the village of Lass. Then follow the path to the left.
(3) Turn right and descend to the ford on the Putet stream (note: there is no bridge or footbridge).
(4) After the ford, turn left and begin another climb (1.2 km at an average gradient of 6%).
(5) At the end of the path, turn right onto the tarmac road and follow it for 600 m until you reach a crossroads.
Alternative: continue straight ahead, at the next fork, turn right and join the crossroads.
(6) Take a path on the right and follow it for 1.3 km. Turn left and take the Chemin des Conques Bas to the D59 road.
(7) Turn left and follow the D59 for 900 m.
(8) Turn right onto a path and continue straight ahead for 1.7 km. You will see the Château de Saint-Céols on your left a few metres before turning.
(9) Turn right towards Croiche.
(10) Take the first road on the right and follow it straight on to Loye.
(11) Turn left, take the paved road and ignore a road on the right.
(12) Turn right onto the path between the vineyards to reach the D46.
(13) Follow this road on the right, which leads to Morogues. Finish with a visit to the church by turning left after the bridge or going straight ahead past the wine cellars to reach the Place des Tilleuls (S/E).
