Park in the car park of Janneyrias Church.
(S/E) Head west, passing in front of the church. Take the road on the left and follow the green space with the pretty fence. Take the path on the left and continue straight ahead until the next crossroads.
(1). Continue straight ahead and you will see the old Saint-Ours Chapel on your right, which also serves as an aviation noise measurement point. Cross the small wood.
(2) Just as you come out, take the path on the left. Follow it to the crossroads, then take the path on the right, then a little further on, the one on the left. Continue straight ahead and pass under a power line.
(3) Pass a monument in memory of two pilots who died in 1945, then enter the hamlet of Saugnieu. Continue south, keeping to the right.
(4) Turn left onto Chemin de la Vendelière in front of the floral display. At the end of the street, turn left onto Chemin des Salines and continue to the crossroads.
(5) Turn left. Be careful, visibility on the street is poor due to a high wall. Follow the street to the small lake, which is a nice place to stop.
(6) Then take the road on the left. At the next crossroads, continue straight ahead. You will come to another charming lake with a small wooden bridge, which may also tempt you to stop.
(7) Take the path on the right, then immediately left. After the bend, turn left again and continue straight ahead until you reach a large farmhouse with stables.
(8) Turn right and take the second road on the left heading north. You are now following the route taken by Baron de Maubec's troops during the battle.
When you reach the road, north of the battle site, cross it, taking care to avoid traffic.
(9) Keep left and cross a bridge over the old railway line east of Lyon, then turn left and follow the tracks.
At the crossroads, continue to follow the tracks and do the same at the next crossroads.
(10) You will arrive at the junction with the D124, which you cross while continuing to follow the railway tracks. You will then pass the old Janneyrias station. Continue following the railway tracks. Cross a road, avoiding a small barrier on the right, and continue to follow the railway tracks.
(11) At the next junction, take the path on your left and follow it until you reach the Cremieu road (D517a), which you take on the left. Cross it at the pedestrian crossing and turn right at the traffic lights.
Then turn left to return to the church and your starting point (S/E).
