Depart from the small car park at the Villa du Vernay archaeological site, Rue de l'Église. It is also marked as a hunting car park.
(S/E) Enter the archaeological site and cross it following the path. Exit on the other side of the site. Turn left onto the road. Pass the Col des Vignes and arrive at the crossroads on the Chemin des Vignes at elevation 213.
(1) Take the path on the right and follow it to a private property. Take the path authorised for walkers without motorised vehicles. Please respect this instruction. At the exit of the property, leave the path on the right and continue to the D65b.
(2) Cross (with caution) and follow thePR® (yellow) markings to the right for 100 metres. Take the path on the left, following the PR®. Walk along an old gravel pit, now transformed into a small lake. You will reach the "la Gravière" signpost.
(3) Turn left towards Moulin du Peillard. After 100 metres, turn right onto the yellow-marked path and follow it to the "Le Moulin du Peillard" signpost.
(4) Continue on the left towards Saint-Romain-de-Jalionas. At Étang du Peillard, turn right and follow thePR® straight ahead to the D65b.
(5) Leave thePR® on your right and turn left. Cross at the pedestrian crossing and take the Chemin des Vignes.
At the crossroads, continue straight ahead on Chemin des Vignes and rejoin thePR® (yellow markings).
(1) Take the path on the right and follow it to Rue des Épinettes.
(6) Turn left and walk along the campsite. Join Rue de l'Église (signposted "Les Épinettes").
(7) Turn right and follow the street to the starting point (S/E).
