Starting point for this circuit: coach car park to the east (S/E) of the gorges in the commune of Lovagny.
To reach it, go via Chavanod or Poisy.
(S) Walk up the car park towards the west until you reach the start of the path leading to the Gorges du Fier.
Turn left, cross the level crossing and take the path at the back of the restaurant car park. Follow this rural path to the three-way junction.
(1) Continue straight ahead towards "Maclamod".
(2) At the crossroads, turn right, follow the road and take the second right. Follow the road down to the Ruisseau du Miracle.
(3) Turn right onto a path.
(4) Turn left and do not go down to the bridge over Ruisseau des Miracles.
(5) Take the forest road on the right, then turn left until you reach the road, which you follow to the right until you reach Chavanod.
(6) At the crossroads, cross the D116 and continue straight ahead towards "Chavanod Chef lieu".
Turn left and follow Route de l'Étang. Turn right onto Route de Belleville until you reach Impasse des Cotes (signposted "Chavanod 30"). Continue to Les Moulins.
(7) Take the forest path on the right, then turn right again onto the path running alongside the gorges until you reach the western car park of the Gorges du Fier.
(8) Take the stairs to reach the entrance to the gorge visitor site, where you will find a picnic area with tables and benches.
(9) Return to the car park at the start of the walk via the Pont des Liasses path.
