In the heart of nature south of Granges d'Ans

Starting point: Car park behind the 12th-century Saint-Martin Church.

(S/E) Turn right onto Route du Lavoir towards Sainte-Orse for about 100 m, then turn left onto Rue la Ruette. At the top, turn right and continue until you reach a path on the left.

(1) Take this path, continue along the path that turns left and pass in front of the calvary, leaving the path that branches off to the left. Turn right and, at the bottom of the descent, on the right, don't miss the Fonbigou wash house. After a short but steep climb, you will arrive at Fonbigou.

(2) Turn right, then left and continue to a fork in the road.

(3) Turn right at the crossroads, continue straight ahead, leaving a path on your right, and you will arrive at Lemboucade.

(4) Turn right onto the tarmac road. At the first crossroads, turn right onto Route du Puits Laroche. Continue along the road until you reach a path on the right.

(5) Leave the road and take this path. Turn left at the second junction, then go downhill. Pass along the pond, leaving it on your right, and rejoin Route du Puits Laroche.

(6) First turn left then right and take the path to Royère, passing Au Pré du Val on your right.

(7) In Royère, turn left into Impasse du Moulin à Vent and continue along the path. After about 800 metres, pass a shed on your left and continue straight ahead. The path sometimes seems less visible as it passes through the meadow. It turns to the right.

(8) Turn right onto the tarmac road, Chemin des Baillargeaux, passing alongside the houses. This leads to the D70, Route du Lavoir.

(9) Follow it to the right, then turn left and return to the car park behind Saint-Martin Church (S/E).
