Park on Place Marius Lescure, between the church and the town hall.
(S/E) With your back to the car park, head towards Route de Sioniac and turn left onto it.
(1) Turn onto the path that runs alongside a barn on the left, at the bend, and you’ll reach La Font Grande.
In 1850, this fountain supplied drinking water to the village’s 380 inhabitants.
(2) Carry on to La Croix de la Martelle. Until the 1950s, on the eve of Ascension Day (Wednesday), a procession took place to invoke divine blessing on the crops and livestock.
(3) Turn right and follow the path which leads to a road.
(4) Turn right. At the wine press, veer left, pass by the cemetery, and head down towards the village.
(5) Walk past a stone cross, against the front of the house on the left. On 15 August, for the Feast of the Assumption, a procession took place to the cross, which had previously been decorated with roses. Continue straight on to reach Place Marius Lescure (S/E) .
