Description of the walk

(Access) On the D203 between Fraïsse-Cabardès and Aragon. About 1.3 km before reaching Aragon, you’ll find a car park on the right-hand side of the road, at a place called Font-en-Gui.

(S/E) Opposite the car park, take the tarmac road signposted ‘Grambaud’. Follow the road to the houses and pass between them.

(1) Take the path between two rows of cypress trees, which begins immediately after the houses. Join a wide, carriageable track and turn left onto it.

(2) At the first three-way junction, leave the main track and carry on straight ahead along a smaller track. Continue straight on for about 650 metres until you reach the first path branching off to the left.

(3) Turn left and carry on to the Le Crouzet estate.

(4) Turn left onto the tarmac road leading from the farm and carry on until you reach the junction with the D203.

(5) At the D203, turn left onto it and follow it to the car park at Font-en-Gui (S/E).

Worth a visit

It would be a shame not to take the opportunity to visit the village of Aragon, which is very picturesque, perched on its rocky outcrop.

A lovely walk through a landscape of heath and pine trees scented with thyme. Wide, peaceful paths; a gentle, relaxing walk. Ideal for families. Petitbob.
