Agullana walks

This walk takes about an hour and a half to two hours including time to explore the bunker. The whole walk is very easy.

Third day of this crossing of the Albères.This is the greenest part of the route as it is mainly through forest.You will pass by the highest point of Roc de France (Roca de Frausa) with a magnificent panorama over a large part of the Eastern Pyrenees and Canigou (Canigó).

This route will take you via the Col de Llinas to Puig Sant Cristau and its chapel, offering magnificent 360° panoramic views.

This is a very difficult hike due to the steep incline on certain sections.Passage through Collada Sant Marti, Roc de la Sentinella, and Coll de la Dona Morta.A good sense of direction and the GPX track are essential. But your efforts will be rewarded by the magnificent scenery.NOTE: the final ascent of Roc Salvador is reserved for experienced hikers who are not prone to vertigo.Shortcut possible from Coll Cerdà ⁴. Hike to discover the fountains of Laroque-des-Albères: the Font dels Simiots and amazing animals which, according to legend, kidnapped babies and came to settle near the fountain after being dislodged from Arles-sur-Tech; the Font de la Vernosa, a well-preserved, beautiful fountain from where one has a magnificent view of the plain of Roussillon.

This hike allows you to discover the Albères national forest and offers magnificent views of the Mediterranean coast to the east, the Roussillon plain to the north, Catalonia to the south and Canigou to the west.

Almost the entire hike is in the shade, under a forest of cork oak trees. The slope is quite steep in the first part. The effort is rewarded by a beautiful 360° view from the tower. Magnificent restored chapel and hike through the woods.

A very pretty hike that starts on a path on the France-Spain border and descends to the Spanish Hermitage. Among other things, you will discover fountains and border markers. See practical information (regarding the condition of the path).

This route can be done in the morning or as a day trip. There is a steep climb at the start, followed by a descent on a stony path, then a track and another path through the chestnut forest.

This is a fairly difficult hike where a good sense of direction is necessary in places. Discovery hike with a possible passage through a tunnel. Hike in the hills above Argelès, passing by the Hermitage of Notre-Dame de Vie and its Saint Jerome Chapel, then the Saint Laurent-du-Mont Chapel. Magnificent panoramic views of the Roussillon plain, Argelès-sur-Mer, the sea and the port. A varied hike with many wide tracks, beautiful single tracks in forests and a few technical sections on rocks and pebbles.

The hike could be classified as difficult due to some very rough sections of the trail and the need for good navigation skills.

Hike along the Albères mountain range, the easternmost part of the Pyrenees, to reach the Madeloc Tower. After a few dozen difficult metres, the path to the tower offers a beautiful view of the Mediterranean coast. At the top, the panorama is unforgettable. You can see Collioure, Argèles-sur-mer, Banyuls-sur-mer, Port-Vendres, and even Spain across the Pyrenees mountain range.

The hike is mainly on beautiful trails, mostly wooded and dotted with various information panels. There are many beautiful landscapes. Unfortunately, two chapels are closed along the route (20 April 2023), but there is an old well and an information panel explaining how the forest landscape is maintained through traditional pastoral farming.This hike is called the Iron Trail, used by the Romans to transport iron from the Batère mines. It passes through the pretty hamlet of Els Hostalets.This hike can be done by mountain bike.

This is a beautiful round-trip hike that can be done in summer as it takes place mostly in the woods and on the northern slope for the most part. The trail markings, which were recently redone (PR® Yellow), make it easy to follow the path from Taulis to the Col de Formentera. The Tour de Batère, at the end of the hike, crowns the outing with beautiful 360° views.

The beautiful village of Collioure, with its church tower standing right on the water's edge, is worth the trip alone! This hike offers a pleasant coastal route to get there. Beautiful views and a rich heritage await you.

The Madeloc Tower, clearly visible from Collioure, is the main destination of this hike. Once you reach the tower, you will be rewarded with a magnificent panorama stretching from Argelès to Spain on the eastern side. The western side opens onto the first peaks of the Pyrenees, including the Pic de Neulos. Along this route, you will encounter numerous military buildings, including the Forts of Saint-Elme and Dugommier, which are clearly visible from the Madeloc Tower.
