Head towards Louhossoa and park in the fronton car park.
(S/E) With your back to the church, follow the Hélette road to the left for 200 metres, then take the first road on the right. At the fork just after, follow the road on the left which climbs south-south-east into a small valley before turning west to reach a crossroads (cattle grid).
(1) Continue left on the road that climbs and passes in front of a characteristic house entrance gate with wheels.
(2) Turn right to go around the house and reach the end of the tarmac road. Continue on a track heading east. Pass by a barn (Petrikundegiko Borda) where the track splits, then continue climbing to finally reach Hartxandegi, a water reservoir and drinking trough.
(3) Continue on the track on the right-hand side, which goes around the next hill.
(4) Ignore the track on the left, which you will take on the way back, and keep to the right to reach the Urtsotegiko Pass (Urtsotegiko Lepoa in Basque).
(5) Adarre is opposite. Turn right to go around the fenced meadow, then take a path that leads to the bottom of a ridge leading to Adarre. Turn left at a 90° angle to follow the path that climbs along this ridge, first east then south-east. Reach the summit.
(6) Descend the stony path to reach the Col de Chancho.
(7) Turn left onto the track heading north, then leave it for a path that branches off to the left and goes around Adarre to the north.
(5) Turn left onto the track you took on the way up.
(4) Take the track on the right overlooking the path you took on the way up.
(3) Continue straight ahead. Pass by the barn again and continue straight ahead until you reach the crossroads with the house with the distinctive gate.
(2) Turn right onto a track that curves sharply to the left before reaching a three-way junction.
(8) Follow the track to the right for a few dozen metres, then leave it for a path that starts on the left and rejoins the Hélette road.
(9) Take the road to the left to return to the fronton car park (S/E).
