This is a beautiful walk that allows you to discover the beautiful chalets of Alpe d'Huez, followed by a gentle path to an old coal mine that closed in 1951, the Herpie mine. Then there is a steeper climb to Lac Blanc. The descent to Alpe d'Huez offers a beautiful view of the resort.

A superb loop that is fairly accessible, even if the first kilometre is on a slightly steep path. You will cross multiple waterfalls, streams and torrents, all with breathtaking views of the Emparis plateau and all the surrounding mountains.

This is a magnificent, very accessible winter snowshoe hike, which takes you to the summit of Charmant Som from the Col de Porte resort via the snow-covered D57E road, which is sometimes difficult to see when the snow is deep. This route offers magnificent panoramic views of all the surrounding mountains with a very reasonable elevation gain. Pass by the Oratoire d'Orgeval and the Chalets du Charmant Som.

A beautiful circular route with minimal elevation gain leading to the Hauts Plateaux du Vercors Nature Reserve, crossing the45th parallel in the Drôme and offering breathtaking scenery. This route presents no particular difficulty and it is easy to park in the golf course car park.

Starting from the small downhill ski slopes of the Désert d'Entremont, this is a very accessible walk offering two beautiful views of the Chartreuse massif, both from the foot of Mont Outhéran and from Pointe de la Cochette, the latter being the most spectacular. The ascents and descents take place in the shade of the woods and forests, offering a beautiful panorama of the Chartreuse massif. Unbeatable value for money!

A lovely little circular on the heights of Gillonnay, starting from the Chapel of Notre-Dame du Mont, with a beautiful view of Parménie and, above all, the Vercors. The chapel is worth a visit. This route is superb in autumn! Be careful, in the height of summer, there is practically no shade.

This day-long itinerary, featuring an optional but almost obligatory lunch break in a good Lyon restaurant, allows you to explore Lyon from below but, above all, from above, via its two hills, Fourvière and La Croix Rousse. A circular route of 17.8 km or less (15 km) if starting from Saint-Georges. Numerous tourist attractions and notable sites in Lyon line this route, offering a feast for the eyes!

This walk, which presents no particular difficulties, follows the pedestrian routes that have been successfully developed to facilitate walking around the lake, thereby minimising the elevation gain. In particular, the route takes the Voie Verte and the Chemin du Marais before joining the GR®65, the Geneva Way of St James – Le Puy-en-Velay, on the heights of Paladru and Le Pin. It passes through many pleasant spots where you can stop for a break. Enjoy the various views of the lake and the surrounding mountains, and the tranquillity of the walk, with a very low proportion of shared paths. You can also walk it in the opposite direction for a different perspective.
