Walk in the hills of the historic village of Saint-Sulpice-sur-Lèze from its centre.In good weather, there are beautiful views of the Lèze valley and, on a clear day, a view of the Pyrenees mountain range where you can see Mont Valier (Ariège) and the Pic du Midi de Bigorre (Hautes-Pyrénées, 150 km away).

This walk takes place on the western slopes of Saint-Sulpice-sur-Lèze, offering lovely views of the surrounding countryside to the south, west and east, as well as a view of the Pyrenees mountain range. It will allow you to explore the administrative area of this historic market town, dating from the 12th century, listed by Bâtiments de France, which is particularly well-preserved, and its main buildings.

This hike takes place on the hillsides between the Lèze and Garonne valleys. The first part leads to the banks of the Garonne, then climbs back up the hillsides, offering beautiful views of the two valleys and the Pyrenees mountain range. After climbing up from the banks of the Garonne, you will walk from valley to valley.

This route is particularly lovely in fine weather and offers superb views of the Ariège Pyrenees, including a view of the Lower Pyrenees and, in particular, a 360° panorama from the Pic de Freychet.
