This is a short loop offering beautiful views of the Mediterranean coast on varied and sometimes challenging terrain. The trail starts among beautiful villas with sea views, then follows a balcony path above the coastline to a lovely beach, and returns via an old railway line. This walk is best suited to sure-footed walkers who are not afraid of tackling the climbs right from the start.

A hike off the beaten track to discover an almost forgotten chapel perched among the rocks and caves carved out by nature under huge dolomitic rocks. Please note that the first half of the route sometimes follows small, very rocky paths that are not marked on maps. It's quite a steep climb up and down!

A country walk between the villages of Ongles and Lardiers. A bucolic and peaceful route in the spirit of Jean Giono, surrounded by fields, farms, lavender and oak forests.

This is a fairly long walk that offers a striking contrast between the dark, steep-sided valleys and the sunny ridges, where the view stretches from the coast to the limestone mountains of the hinterland.

A beautiful climb takes you to a summit at 2,757 metres, from where you can enjoy a 360° panorama of many of the high mountains in the surrounding area. These forts were built at the end of the 19th century to prevent Italian troops from entering the country via the Salso Moreno valley. They were occupied during both World Wars but were never actually used.

A beautiful and varied walk through the countryside, culminating in the medieval village of Saint-Julien-le-Montagnier (with its chapels, mills, church and 360° panorama of Provence).

A short hike with a variety of scenery (beaches, forests, panoramic views, rocky trails) that takes you around Cap du Dramont, crossing beaches and forests and following rocky trails along the coast. Beautiful landscapes and culture. Recommended in all seasons except the hot season, as it is very busy and very hot. The signposting could do with updating in places. You need to follow signs that are sometimes blue and sometimes yellow.

A route taking in small lakes and pleasant streams with a few interesting vantage points. At times, the path winds through the depths of wild ravines dominated by huge, jagged rocks. Be careful, however: the ford at the bottom of the Perthus ravine can be difficult or even impossible to cross when there is too much water in the stream bed.

This hike allows you to visit two pretty villages in the Haut Var and enjoy their authentic charms.

A route with a fairly steep climb, rewarding you, once at the summit, with a 360° view of the Southern Alps stretching all the way to the sea. Includes a visit to a chapel and the old village of Peyroules. Above 1,700 metres, there is no longer a clearly marked path; you’ll need to navigate using the GPX file, cairns and tracks on the ground.
