In the foothills of the Corbières, search for the ancient Roman roads and milestones left by the Romans themselves, and have fun deciphering what is written on them. Then stroll through the hills in search of the flora and fauna of these sun-scorched landscapes. Climb to higher ground and admire the view of the Étang de Leucate, watching the birds of prey in flight.

A hike to the end of the world (although close to the city) where you will hardly meet anyone. You will feel like you are at the end of the world as you descend to the bottom of a canyon, part of which you will hike along its most interesting length. A feeling of adventure and action, Indiana Jones is not far away.

This hike will take you through an enchanting forest above one of the region's large underground water networks, which can be seen in several places: in an underground cistern, at the bottom of a karstic cave, in the bed of an almost dry river, or at a resurgence. You will also see one of the most beautiful dolmen sites in southern Ardèche. Please note that the Aven du Reméjadou is extremely dangerous.

This hike will take you to a megalithic necropolis and a desert plain inhabited long ago by those who were buried there. It will take you to the village of Berrias, up to the Païolive woods, which you will cross, and then to the hermitage of Saint-Eugène, which is still in use, before allowing you to admire the Chassezac gorges from the magnificent cliff.

One of the most beautiful routes in the Vans region, both in terms of scenery and heritage. Balcony paths, chestnut groves and drying rooms, a gold-bearing river, low walls and beehives carved into chestnut tree trunks: everything invites you to discover this enclave of the Ardèche and its hamlets, which were once only accessible on foot. Be careful, there are steep and very steep ascents and descents. Allow 5 hours for the route, plus extra time for wandering around.

A beautiful hike on easy trails, with numerous magnificent views of the Ardèche mountains, the Vercors and the Ventoux, discovering the remains of ancient cultures and the forgotten and abandoned hamlet of Les Pallières. A route through areas that were inhabited and cultivated until the 19th century. As a bonus, if the water is flowing, finish with a swim in the Ibie.

An easier variant of the "Louyre Canyon via the Dolmen de l'Houlme" hike, allowing you to discover this magnificent little wild spot without venturing into the canyon (reserved for experienced hikers or connoisseurs). Discover the ancient structures around a stream that had a greater and more regular flow in the last century, and enjoy beautiful views of the canyon.

The Ibie Valley and its cliffs are full of geological curiosities. The Ranc de l'Arche is the best known, with the Trou de la Lune rock. It is easily accessible via this route. The second part takes you along a section of the botanical trail, and the third part takes you to the Salastre stream canyon and its famous gour, where you will be alone in the world. Allow 3 to 3½ hours to take your time and enjoy the scenery.

A page of history for children and adults. 2,800 years ago, the Helvetii - long before the Gauls - settled in this region and built their first fortified villages on the cliffs. Julius Caesar himself described these enclosed and isolated places as "Oppidum". The Romans, who colonised the region from the 1st century AD onwards, finished the job. Further south is the "Camp de César", a Roman camp. The return path runs very close to the edge of the cliff, so please be careful.

This beautiful and challenging hike will take you on a short journey to discover the passages invented by the locals to cross the basalt flows, take you to the old summer pastures of Fargebelle through steep chestnut groves, and as a bonus, show you the two magnificent bridges that span the Ardèche on either side of Thueyts.
