This walk begins very well descriptively. Down to the river and along the bank and left at the stream and through the woods.
When we came from point 5 to 6 and we had to pass the farm there were no signs whatsoever -easy get lost - but we spoke to the farmer and kindly showed us the way through and it was quite confusing to find a way through to get to Blashaw woods. Once there we had another obstacle as there was no path which might have been washed away by the stream or had collapsed. We had to use our google maps to find us the way through and the arrow GPS of the map helped as well.

Otherwise (except the mud) it was very interesting walk. Thanks.

This walk begins very well descriptively. Down to the river and along the bank and left at the stream and through the woods. It then goes very vague. "Follow the hedgerow" somehow means cross two fields diagonally! If my partner hadn't had her phone we would have been completely lost. So a nice walk marred by poor description of the route.
