This is the second stage of the five-day "GRP® de la Valserine" hiking trail. The hike allows you to quickly leave the city behind and gradually climb to the Plateau de Retord, where you will have a beautiful view of the path ahead and, if you are lucky, a panorama of the Alps. Then cross over to the other side of the Jura mountains via Giron 1000, the highest commune in the Ain department.
