A fascinating walk to explore all the city’s parks and gardens, as well as the white-water route. Ideal for when the weather’s bad in the mountains.

A lovely walk through both the city and the countryside. Exploring the Hédas ravine offers a different way to experience Pau.

By taking a slight wrong turn, we passed the Pau Béarn Pyrénées whitewater stadium. "It is an artificial whitewater stadium located in Bizanos, near Pau. Opened in 2009, it serves as the training centre for the French national slalom team." It was well worth making a short 100-metre detour to watch the kayakers training.
