Description of the walk

Park at Place du Foirail.

(S/E) Opposite the post office, take Rue de Mirabel on the right, pass the chemist’s and continue to the recycling bins.

(1) Continue along Chemin du Pont de Fer on the left just before the recycling point (GR® signposting).

(2) Cross the D806 with care (bend) and continue along the road almost directly opposite (GR® signposting). Walk past the sewage treatment plant and continue along the road, ignoring Fangette on your left.

(3) At the top of the climb, keep left onto the track and carry on to the first farms at Les Fangettes. Continue along the main road heading south.

(4) At the first junction, take a track on the left. Carry on straight ahead to the hamlet of Rieutortet. Follow the road until you reach the departmental road.

(5) Follow the D806 carefully on the left until you reach the entrance to Rieutort-de-Randon. Cross the road, passing the town hall and the mini-market further on, then turn right after the hairdresser’s, towards the Place du Foirail (S/E).
