Description of the walk

Park in front of the town hall (check opening hours so as not to cause any disruption to the building – parking available nearby)!

(S/E) With your back to the town hall, turn left onto the road leading uphill towards Corsaint for about 600 metres.

(1) Leave the road and turn right onto the footpath. From here, you’ll have a view of the valley! Follow the footpath for about 1.5 km through the forest (watch out for brambles) until you come out onto a road. Head downhill to the right for about 150 metres and you’ll arrive at Tivauche-le-Haut.

(2) Turn right at a right angle to follow the road leading to Tivauche le Bas. At the three-way junction, you’ll have a choice of two roads. Take the one on the right, not the one on the left, to reach Cortaint.

(3) At the junction, take the road on the right and continue until you reach the D4.

(4) Turn right and follow the D4 (take care) straight on until you return to the town hall (S/E).
