(S/E) Leave the pub and go a few yards towards Kingsclere and take a farm track on the left. Turn left on a crossing footpath for some 400 yds, turning sharp right onto Brenda Parker Way. This joins a metalled lane and then veers right with some farm buildings on the left.
(1) At a junction, keep straight on bearing to the right of a field and aim to pass a black wooden hut, and follow past the disused nursery on the left, turning left at a T-junction. In 200yds go through the metal gates.
(2) Then turn left through a wooden farm gate, following the track for 600yds before going right towards Kisby's Farm, visible across a field. To reach it, follow the track anticlockwise round the edge of the field.
(3) Turn right to cross a bridge and a stile by the farmhouse. Now follow the right-hand edge of the field to the corner, turning left and continuing through a metal farm gate into the next field. Continue 500yds till you reach a second stile on the right which cross, and leaving the brick building to your left go forward 150yds and take the footpath on the left.
(4) Go forward 300yds till you pass a larchlap fence on your left and come out on a wider lane. Go left on this, round a bend to the right.
(5) Arriving in a field turn left for 400yds, crossing a plank bridge, to a T-junction where turn right. Follow this wooded path for some 800yds back to the junction near farm buildings that you passed on the way out.
(1) Return to the pub by retracing your steps. (S/E)
