Description of the walk

(S/E) Walk a few yds torwards Newbury and take the footpath sign on the left to one side of a house, and follow the track downhill into the Enborne Valley. The footpath goes behind the derelict red brick cottage, and then forward across open fields, nearing the river.

(2) Turn left for 500 yds then left again onto a marked footpath that goes forward for 700 yds before kinking to the right to meet the Bailey bridge recrossing the Enborne.

(4) Turn left for the pub in 500 yds.(S/E)
