One small drawback: the long, somewhat monotonous straight stretch between km 5 and 7.
Some sections can be very wet in rainy weather or during periods of high water. It is therefore advisable to wear appropriate footwear.
A mainly woodland walk in the hills above the Vesdre between Nessonvaux, Banneux and Fraipont, offering walkers beautiful views of the valley, the village of Goffontaine and the hills of Olne to the north.

Notes
Worth a visit
An interesting fact: the Calvary stretches along the path between km 9 and 11... Of course, historically, the Stations of the Cross are to be walked in reverse order, from the lowest point to the highest!
Banneux, Lourdes in Wallonia, relatively speaking :-)
