Head to Rue de Wergifosse in Micheroux/Soumagne. There is a large car park near the roundabout and opposite the Turkish restaurant.
(S/E) As you leave the car park, take Rue de Wergifosse on the left. Walk past the Joskin company, well known in the agricultural sector.
When you reach a cross on the right-hand side, continue straight on and walk past the Relais du Roy. Then turn right onto Voie des Maçons. Continue until the road is blocked by a barrier. Go round the side.
(1) Pass the stile on the right. Cross the meadow.
(2) Pass a solitary fence post. You may need to duck under a wire. It does not appear to be live. Continue following the signs for Chemin des Échaliers.
(3) At the fork, turn left and join Rue du Peuple. Follow it to the left. Then turn right onto Rue du Maireux. After a few minutes, take the first path on the right. This leads to Soumagne cemetery. Walk alongside the cemetery, cross the main road in front of you and head right.
(4) Follow the path on the left. Continue along it and, at the next fork, keep to the left. This path runs alongside the TGV line. Turn right and follow Rue des Carmes.
(5) Take the path on the right after crossing the Ruisseau des Marais. Cross the meadows, join Rue du Pansery and turn right.
(6) Cross the N3 very carefully. There are no pedestrian crossings in the vicinity.
Turn right and then immediately left onto Rue du Lac. At the end of the street, turn left into the woods. Stay on the main path. Cross the Ravel and take the path opposite.
Make sure you follow the GPS route carefully.
At the next fork, turn right and then left. Ignore thefirst andsecond paths on the right.
At the next fork, turn right and take the next path on the right. At the end, turn right.
(7) Join Rue Rôthis and follow it to the right. Cross Rue de la Chapelle and follow the Ravel
Cross Rue de Heuseux and follow the Ravel. Turn left onto Rue de la Siroperie and head right. Continue straight on along Avenue de la Coopération. Head towards Avenue Jean Jaurès and take the Ravel. Follow it for a few hundred metres.
(8) Before passing under the motorway bridge, take the path on the right and join Avenue de la Résistance. Turn left at the cemetery by the roadside, cross at the pedestrian crossing and head to the car park on Rue de Wergifoose (S/E)..
