Other walks in the area
Ghajn Tuffieha and Gnejna Bay

This hike on the north-west coast of Malta offers the chance to discover two beautiful beaches that are uncrowded in the low season. The route begins with a walk inland through cultivated plots of land, on narrow roads lined with dry stone walls where flowers abound in spring. It continues along the sea and passes two sandy beaches, Ghejna Bay and Gahjn Tuffieha, before ending at the fortified tower that guards Golden Bay.
Marfa Ridge and Paradise Bay

Cliffs, sandy beaches, eroded rocks, prickly pears, small roads lined with dry stone walls and the ever-present sea: this route is a real snapshot of the island of Malta. After Marfa Ridge and Paradise Bay, the hike continues close to the sea. It allows you to appreciate the contrast between the large modern residential complexes and the more modest but picturesque buildings that dot the coastline before ending in the pretty bay of Mellieha.
Saint Peter's Pool

Saint Peter's Pool, a magnificent natural swimming pool, is a must-see in southern Malta. However, at the start of this hike, you will have to ignore the chimneys of the gas terminal and the large container port of Pretty Bay. Once you turn your back on them, the rugged coastline, small bays and remarkable rocks, as well as the beautiful Saint Peter's Pool, will quickly make you forget these unsightly sites.
From Marsalforn to the statue of Christ the Saviour
Marsalforn is a charming village in the north of Gozo with a magnificent bay. On the outskirts of the town stands a hill rising to a height of about 80 metres, overlooking the surrounding area. A statue of Christ was erected on top of the hill in 1979.It is the summit of this hill that I suggest you climb during this hike. The views of Gozo and Victoria are remarkable.
From Marsalforn to Ramla Bay

Marsalforn is a charming village in the north of Gozo with a beautiful bay. A hillside hike takes you from this pretty harbour to the famous Ramla Bay Beach. The coastal scenery is stunning and the view of the bay from the mountains is breathtaking. Both the start and finish points are served by regular bus services, so you don't have to worry about walking back.
From Dwejra to Xlendi via the coastal path
Dwejra is an enchanting place with its inland sea, blue hole, tower and bay. It is the ideal starting point for a hike along Gozo's rugged coastline, at the top of vertiginous cliffs. The trail passes historical points of interest and absolutely magnificent landscapes before reaching the typical village of Xlendi.A regular bus service runs from the starting point and a second service connects the finish to Victoria.
