The Comberoute woods and the hamlet of Redenat: a circular route from Sirieix

Start at the fountain (on the left), near the south-eastern exit of Sirieix (D72), heading towards Dezéjouls.

(S/E) Follow the D72 carefully towards Dezéjouls.

(1) At the Comberoute sign, take a small road on the left which remains tarmacked for about 800 m before turning into a track through the woods.

(2) At the three-way junction, keep left and join a wide forest track.

(3) Follow it to the left until you come out onto a road.

(4) Cross it and head straight ahead. Cross the Ruisseau de la Waterfall and reach Redenat.

(5) Turn left, cross the hamlet, then turn right at the three-way junction at the end of the hamlet. You’ll reach a junction by two farm buildings.

(6) Carry on to the right. Ignore the first turn-off to the left, then another to the right about a hundred metres further on, and you’ll reach a large triangular junction just north of Sirieix.

(7) Take the road on the left and head straight on to return to the starting point (S/E).
