From the RT40, take the RD50 to reach the starting point in the centre of the village. At the end of the RD 50, just opposite, there is a large dirt area where you can park easily.
(S/E) To start the hike, leave the car park and turn left. Follow the road for 150 metres and turn right towards the bottom of Forcone.
(1) Cross the RD50 and continue opposite on the path marked in yellow throughout the route.
(2) At the T-junction, ignore the footbridge over the stream on your right and continue straight ahead.
Further on, cross the footbridge over the stream and continue on the right bank of the stream, following the single track, which is impossible to miss (yellow markings).
(3) Turn right, heading north-west, and follow the yellow trail. Before the next fork, on the left side of the path, after about 800 metres (be careful not to miss the passage), leave the trail and enter the scrubland where you will find the Oriu di Cubia (Mesolithic rock shelters) very close by. Then return to the trail and continue to a T-junction.
(4) At the T-junction, turn right and continue (yellow markings) to a platform where there is a ruined house.
(5) Go around the house on the right and climb up to the rear area. Then go to the stairs at the back, which lead up to the beautiful Oriu. Turn around, go down the stairs and join the slightly descending path on the left.
After about 600 metres, at the T-junction, turn right towards the village. Pass the church on your right and continue along the main street to return to the car park at the centre of the village. (S/E)
