Bruzzis Circular Loop

A superb walk with the first section along the coast and a return inland through the shade. Not particularly difficult, but it’s best to wear good walking shoes, be able to walk on a stony path and lift your feet in certain sections. In summer, make sure you take plenty of water!

Description of the walk

To find the car park, take the D122 from Viagenti. About 300 m past the cemetery, take the road on the right towards the campsites, not the harbour. In front of the Kevano campsite, turn right (signposted ‘Bruzzi’) and continue straight on to the car park.

(S/E) Head south-west, following the signposts for the Bruzzi trail.

(1) At the junction, veer left and head straight down towards a cove.

(2) Turn right to reach Pointe des Bruzzi.

(3) Turn right and make your way from cove to cove (stunning scenery). This will take you to Anse d’Arbitru (superb panoramic view).

(4) Then turn right. Walk through the scrubland, heading east at first. After about 750 m, the path turns south. Further on, head east again and return to a junction you passed at the start of the walk.

(1) Keep to the left (north-east) to return to the car park where you started (S/E).
